In the project’s early stages, there were discussions regarding the potential for a mixed-media approach, integrating sketch’s beautiful rooms and backgrounds with the two-dimensional character animation.

Ultimately we moved on from this idea to achieve a more illustration like style 👨🏻‍🍳

Not my usual post but since I didn’t bring a single thing to draw with/on I’ll share these pics of this beautiful trip where I met loads of wonderful and talented people as well as crying like a baby at Kensuke’s screening which is my first of what I hope many feature films to come!
Was able to reunite with some of the crew and most importantly I became an auntie! 💗👶🏽
